Long overdue updates

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with visits to both Josh's parents and my family.  It was a whirlwind of a week and we were exhausted by the time we got home and we all had colds.  But it was great to see everyone and Harrison had a great time.

We've spent the last couple of weeks getting ready for Christmas.  We put up the tree and let's just say with a toddler in the house, ornaments don't stay where you put them for long.  Harrison loves the tree and the ornaments.  We are constantly telling him "no touch" for which he replies "touch?" and proceeds to take one or more off.  If you look at our tree now, the bottom half looks a little spotty because most of the ornaments have found a spot higher up.

We made a final push to finish our laundry room, which was long overdue.  We worked like crazy when we put Harrison to bed and before long things were done.  Aside from some minor details, the room is complete.  I'll have to post some pictures later when we actually have those minor details finished.  Our next step is to paint the hallway and then finish up with the trim.

Josh finished up his first semester of his counseling program.  He's enjoying his break of no homework for the next few weeks.  I've been busy chasing Harrison around the house and getting everything ready for the holidays.  Harrison has been busy climbing on everything and getting into what he can't climb on.  He keeps me on my toes and always makes me laugh.  His favorite thing to do right now is to do something he's not allowed to and the look at us and say "stop."  He still loves to dance and finds Christmas music is suited just for that.  Can't wait to see him Christmas morning.  I'm sure he's going to have a fun time.

Here are a couple of pictures from the last month or so.
