To Disney and Back

The Zinger clan headed to Disney on Nov. 29th.  It was great to spend a week with everyone.  It doesn't happen very often anymore and I have a feeling it's going to get harder and harder to get us all together.  Harrison did great on his first flight.  He only had a little trouble with his ears on the way there and ended up sleeping the entire flight back.  Disney was, of course, amazing.  We had such a fun time visiting all the parks and getting to eat at some great restaurants.  Josh's favorite was 'Ohana, an all you can eat Polynesian restaurant.  We had so much food, that by the end of the week we were tired of eating (amazingly, this includes Josh).  Harrison was pretty good for the whole trip.  He didn't really care much about being in the parks, except that they were loud.  He basically slept through most things and his favorite time was when we were back at the hotel.  We took him to a water park and he enjoyed sitting on our laps as we went around the lazy river.  Although, he wasn't a big fan of the occasional waterfall, probably because the water was ice cold.  He liked meeting Mickey Mouse and other characters.  Sadly the vacation had to end, even more sad was leaving the warm weather for snow.

A couple of days after we returned home, Harrison had his 4 month check up.  He weighed in at a whopping 18 lbs. 6 oz. and is 26.5 inches long.  Still at the top of the charts.  He was happy during his visit until they gave him his shots.  Luckily, he only cries until I can scoop him up.  The rest of the day he was pretty tired and cranky.

Now we're getting ready for Christmas.  I can't believe it's right around the corner.  We finally put the tree up last night and Harrison enjoys looking at the lights.  Next year we'll have to come up with a way to keep him away from the tree, but for now he can't get too close.  We still have a little shopping to do and I'm not excited about braving the crowds to get it done.  However, I do love listening to all the Christmas music.  One of my favorites things from Disney World, was being able to see all the decorations and hear the Christmas music played throughout all the parks and resorts.

Merry Christmas everyone.  Hope you have a great holiday and a Happy New Year!
